Make & takes from Sale-A-Bration

Here are the make and takes that we did last Sat. at Ronda's Sale-A-Bration event.  This first card is using the stamp set called Easter Blossoms out of the Occasions mini.  On the vanilla piece we used the new Framed Tulips embossing folder.  On the Baja Breeze piece we used an aqua painter to apply shimmer paint.  That's what gives it the glimmer.  And see the key trinket?  We each got a container of the keys to use on our projects.

Here's the new Bigz die called Petal Cone.  It's also out of the occasions mini.  And the blossoms were cut on the Big Shot with the new Fun Flowers die.  Just look at the cute pom pom trim.  It comes in Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight.  Also in the Occasions mini.

Here's a cute little post-it's note holder.  Do you like the paper?  This paper and the printed paper on the cone above can be your for free.  They are out of the Sale-A-Bration mini.

Here's a great photo albumn.  The belly band is more of the free paper.  And the stamp set used is Bliss out of the Sale-A-Bration mini.  You can get it.  Just let me know.  Notice that the ribbon matches.  It's also in the Sale-A-Bration mini.

Here it is open.  There's lot of room for photo's.

Here's a cute card that for some reason never got finished.  There should be a greeting on the front.  Notice the ribbon on it?  It's not ribbon but some of the Springtime Vintage fabric torn into strips.

We got to make three of these cards.  This is some of the Springtime Vintage designer series paper.  And if you were there your probably saying "she didn't do it right"  I totally forgot to run the white paper through the big shot with an embossing folder. Oh well, it wouldn't be me if everything was right.

And the reason that we did three cards was so that we could put them in this cute holder.  It's one of the clear stamp cases decorated with the Springtime Vintage DSP.  And again I used one of the keys as an accent.

And then Tamie Ackerson showed us a cool way to finish off the case.  Put a note pad, calendar, post-it notes and a pen so that you have an office on the go.  What a good idea.

Well, that's it for today.  Got to go shovel snow,  Ya, right.  I did make a path from the back door out to the Paper Palace so that this afternoon I can go and play.  Your welcome to come and join me.  Of course I don't know how you would get here.  There's only been one vehicle past here today and that was early this morning.  Now I know how the people in Siberia feel.  When I was outside it was so quiet.  I'm less than 1/2 mile from M57 but there was not a sound to be heard.

  1. Thanks for sharing these Lynn. I didn't get to see or hear Tamie show how to finish off the DVD case with the calendar, etc. Great idea for alternative use after giving as a gift with cards. I'm still waiting for pictures of your fabric projects from the event. Hugs, Sandi
