New vellum

These cards are all made with the "Graceful Glass" vellum paper out of the new catalog.  One of the perks of being a demonstrator is getting to go to On Stage.  And one of the perks there was that when we finished our make and takes we got to divide up all the left over supplies and I picked out this vellum.  I have the stamp set that goes with the vellum but you can make beautiful cards with just the vellum.

The greeting on the above card is from the set Painted Glass but you could use any greeting that you have.

The card above was made with just one panel from a sheet of vellum.  The panels make great book marks too.  I made a couple of bookmarks but I think they're already packed up to go to Ashley on Saturday.

The greeting on this card is using the new Make A Difference stamp set.  It's an alphabet set and it has both capitals and small letters.

Share What You Love

Here's a couple more cards made with the Share What You Love suite.  Remember, you can get this suite during May.  Just let me know or go to my web page to order it.
This set is so versatile that it might be the only one you need.  Again, I didn't make these cards.  I found them online.

Share What You Love

I said that I would show you some cards made with the Share What You Love suite and here are the first two.  I didn't make these.  I found them on the web but I think they show how beautiful the suite is.  I'll keep posting for a couple of days.  And remember that you can get this suite right now.  Just let me know or order on my web page.

Share What You Love

Are you waiting to see the new catalog?  Here's a sneek peek of a suite that you can get right now.  And there are three different options for you to pick from.  It's called Share What You Love and you can get the starter bundle for new stampers.  It includes a stamp set called Love What You Do, Very Vanilla card stock, new Grapefruit Grove stamp pad, Old Olive stamp pad, a clear block and Very Vanilla note cards and envelopes.  Everything you need to make a card and get it in the mail.

But maybe you have been stamping a while.  Then go for the A Little More Please bundle.  It includes two stamp sets, Love What You Do and Make A Difference, Very Vanilla card stock, Share What You Love cardstock pack, Pearlized doilies, Grapfruit Grove stamp pad, Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon, some colored pearls, and these free products, Very Vanilla envelopes and the Share What You Love embellishment kit.

If you're like me then you want the Gotta Have It All bundle.  Here's everything thats included except the artisan pears, which I don't have yet.

Here's a picture of everything that's included.

Here's the DSP.  It's heavy like card stock and it has a pearl shine to it.  And you get four sheets of every design.

Here's the embossing folder.  It's kind of hard to take pictures of embossing folders but I think you can see it good enough to see that it's a lovely design.

Here are the three stamp sets.  This first one is called Make a Difference and it's great because the letters are all separate and you can make any words that you want to.  I'll show you a card later where I did that.

Here's the second stamp set, Love What You Do.

And this next stamp set is called Statement of My Heart.   As demonstrators we have a Statement of the Heart but this one is for everyone.  And it's free and this is the only time you'll ever be able to get it.

And here's another free item.  It's the embellishment kit.  The box is wonderful because it's so pretty and made so well.  And the contents include two spools of twine, some laser cut labels, some paper clips and some self adhesive silver flowers.

I don't have a separate picture of the ribbon, doilies, card stock, envelopes or the stamp pad but they're beautiful.

The pearls haven't come yet but they should be here soon.  The reason for the pearl effects is because it's Stampin' Up!'s 30th year and pearl are for 30 years.  Take my word for it that this is a great set and the cost for the Gotta Have it All bundle is only $127.50 but if you bought everything separate it would be close to $150.00 and you wouldn't get the State of My Heart stamp set.
Just let me know if you're interested.  I'll be posting some cards in the coming days to that you can see the many beautiful cards that can be made.

More cards for class.

Here are two more sneek peeks of cards that we'll be doing at card class tomorrow and Monday.  This first one is from the Birthday Delivery set.  This set is retiring and I hate to see it go.  It makes such cute kids cards. The one hiding is the card that we'll be making at class.

This next card was made using Guy Greetings which is also retiring.  The card in front was made by Jen Ruff and the card behind is the one we'll be doing in class.  And we'll be using the new Brusho colors on the background.

Just let me know if you want to come and make these cards.  Tomorrow at the Paper Palace or on Monday at Penny Lane.

Magical Day

The stamp set Magical Day, out of the Occasions catalog, is retiring.  So here's a couple of cards that I've made with it.  I can't find the cute card that I made for On Stage swaps.  I'll probably find it next week.  I love this set because I  love the fantasy of dragons, wizards and knights.  You can see a peek of the card that we'll be doing at card class this week.

last chance

It's getting close to the end of Sale A Bration.  Did you get everything that you wanted?  In less than two weeks Sale A Bration will be over.  So if there's something that has caught your eye get your order in before the end of March.  We will be having card class this Thurs, March 22 and you'll be able to order then.

The other thing to think about before the end of March is the starter kit.  Right now, until March 30th, if you sign up to become a demonstrator you'll be able to add any two stamp sets to your kit for free.  This could be up to almost $50.00.  So think about it and let me know.  You'll love being a demonstrator.  Just think about all the advantages.  You'll get a discount on everything in the catalog, you'll get to see and pre-order out of the new catalogs, you'll get to attend some awesome events put on by Stampin' Up!  and you'll meet some great people.  And in my opinion the best part is that you will be part of the Paper Palace Stampers and the Rubber Queens.  Ronda Wade, the leader of the Rubber Queens, does lots of training and has had many successful people go through her training program.  And if you're a Rubber Queen the training is all free.  If you're serious about becoming successful in owning your own business this is the place to be.

Join the fun.

Hello ladies,
I'm really slow getting back into the swing of things but I'm trying.  And I wanted to be sure that you all know about the recruit special that is going on right now.  During Sale A Bration, until March 31, anyone who signs up to be a demonstrator can pick any two stamp sets to add to your started kit.  If you look at the stamp sets there are a few that are priced between $45.00 and $50.00.  Just think, that's adding almost another $100.00 value to your kit.  And the kit is only $99.00.  Why would you want to do this?  Two FREE stamp sets of your choice, whatever you want in your kit, 20% discount on all purchases with the chance to earn a 25% discount, the chance to get new product before it's released to the public.  And the best part.  There's no further obligation.  If you join just to get the free stamps then that's okay.  No one will bug you about requirements.  So, if you want to take advantage of this great deal just go to my web site and click the "join the fun" button.
If you have any question please let me know.

Waterfront

Wow, there must be a lot of people who like Fast Fuse.  The sale was only "while supplies last" and they only lasted about 8 hours.
So on to other things.  Here are some samples that I pulled off the web of my favorite stamp set in the Occasions catalog.  This is "Waterfront"  When I saw the stamp set in the catalog I wasn't impressed at all but then I saw it demonstrated at On Stage and I love it.  We will be using it at card class this month.  I hope you all like it as much as I do.

Fast Fuse special

Stampin' Up! has a special on Fast Fuse adhesive but it's only for five days.  Buy one Fast Fuse and get two refills free.  Buy as many as you want.  Fast Fuse is my adhesive of choice.  I love how good things stick together.  I'll admit that there is a little learning curve to use it but once you figure it out you'll love it.  So let me know if you want to take advantage of this offer.  Or you can always order it yourself if you go to my web page.

Paper Pumpkin and Sale A Bration

If you've ever thought about subscribing to Paper Pumpkin now might be a great time to do it.  If you buy a pre-paid subscription then you qualify for free Sale A Bration items.  On page nine of the annual catalog you'll find the prices and item numbers for the pre-paid subscriptions.  If you get a 3 month subscription then you qualify for a free level 1 Sale A Bration item.  If you get a 6 month subscription then you quality for 2 level 1 items or 1 level 2 items.  And best of all is a 12 month subscription you would qualify for 4 level 1 items or 2 level 2 items or do like I did and get 2 level 1 items and 1 level 2 item.  And the best part is the fact that it qualifies as a workshop so you will earn hostess benefits.  So think about it and let me know if you're interested.

Sorry I've been so slow posting anything.  I had surgery, total knee replacement, a week ago and it really kicked my butt.  Turns out I'm allergic to the pain meds they were giving me.
Anyway here's the next Designer Series Paper.  It's called "True Gentleman" and I love it for masculine cards.  It's part of a suite and there's a punch, buttons, stamp set and some beautiful nave ribbon.

Here's a card made with this suite.  I didn't have the navy ribbon so I substituted this punch.  I could have used the long strip from the Flourish Thinlits.  It would be faster than the punch.  Remember, anytime you need a piece of ribbon you can use the piece from the thinlits.  You'll probably see this card in a class sometime.  I'll look for some more samples for you.

Occsions DSP

The Occasions catalog has some really beautiful designer series paper.  Here is the Painted With Love paper.  It's a little hard to see in the picture but there's some foil on these.  It shows up a little better in the close up's.  I think you're really going to love this paper.

In the above sample the yellow is actually gold foil.  Don't know why it shows like this.  In the sample below the gold hearts are foil also.

Sale A Bration is here and I'm really late.

Here's one of the best reasons to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  Swap Cards.  These are from Tues night's Rubber Queen meeting.
Some of these images are stamp sets out of the Occasions catalog and some are from the Sale A Bration catalog.  I hope to be posting a lot more pictures of Sale A Bration catalog because these are the ones that you can get for free.  On the bottom row the three cards on the left were made with Sale A Bration sets.
A word of warning.  I'm not sure what's going to happen with card class this month.  It's on Jan.  25th here at the Paper Palace.  My problem is that I'm scheduled for a total knee replacement on Jan. 17th.  Will I be ready for a card class on Jan. 25th?  Not sure.  When I had my other knee done I ended up in the nursing home for a few days after surgery.  So I guess you'll just have to stayed tuned for further updates.  I'm sure that I will still have card class on Jan. 29th at Penny Lane in Ashley.  That might be the only class that I'll have in Jan.
