Here's the Christmas card that we did at Thurs. card class.  It's a punch art angel made with the Bow Tie bigz die.

And here the angel is joined by it's little sibling, an angel made with the bow tie punch.  I think this will be a really cute Christmas tag.

More of Hooray It's Your Day.

Here's another card made from the Hooray It's Your Day project kit.  This one is a little different.  The card is adhered on the sides and the greeting is on the white piece that slides out at the top.  You can see the little star shaped paper clip here.  And more of the wooden stars.  I haven't gotten all of the cards made yet but I'm sure that there will be stars left over to use on something else.

Here's the second card from the Hooray It's Your Day project kit.  This one shows the rays that are created by using the spritz mat.  Just lay the mat on the card stock and spritz with either water or alcohol mixed with a few drops of re-inker. (two spritzers are included in the kit) I like using rubbing alcohol because it dries much faster.  The little stars on here are wooden cutouts that are included in the kit.  And there's a roll of washi tape included in the kit.  My bow is kind of wimpy.  I think I need to practice using the bakers twine.  I can't seem to get the bows just right.

Hooray, It's Your Day.

I finally got around to doing my Make and Takes from Leadership.  We got the project kit called "Hooray It's Your Day" and the stamp set that goes with it.  You can find it on page 16 of the Occasions catalog.  With the kit we got all of the supplies needed to make the cards,  This includes all of the card stock, wooden accessories, two spritzers and two spritz masks.
This is the first card that I made.  It pays to go slow and think about what you're doing.  I just willy, nilly followed the sample and after I had it done I realized that I could have waited to put the numbers on.  There's a whole sheet of number stickers and if I had waited until I needed a card then I could have added the right numbers.  Oh well, someone will turn 35 some time.

This card is a gift card holder so here's what the inside of the card looks like.  With a little alteration.  When I stamped the greeting I dropped the stamp and ended up with a mess.  So I just covered it up with the Bermuda Bay and adhered a new greeting.

I'll show you another card tomorrow.

Some people have so much talent.  And I wish I was one of them.  Yesterday I showed you a treat bag made with the new treat bag framelit.  Well, it was cute but just look at this one.  So beautiful.  Thanks to An Schach for the wonderful treat bag.  I just love this one.

Mini Treat Bag.

Isn't this a cute treat bag?  I wasn't going to buy this thinlit but when I went to Leadership I won it in Prize Patrol.  It's so cool.  It comes with 10 pieces.  There are words, a bow, a heart, a star and couple of banners and a row of hearts.  So if you ever need any treat bags this is what you need.

Valentine's Day is tomorrow and I'm ready for it.  See these cute treats.  These were made using the January Paper Pumpkin kit.  I'd tell you how many it made but that means that I would have to go out to the Paper Palace and count them and it's just to cold.  Believe me,  there's a lot.  The kit came with the cello bags, the tags, a stamp set and the gold clips.

If you've ever thought about the Paper Pumpkin but you just aren't sure if it's for you then we have a great deal right now.  You can buy a subscription for 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.  And the 3 month subscription will entitle you to a free Sale A Bration item and the kit is on sale.  It's only $54.85 right now.  That's $5.00 off of the regular price.
Why is this a great deal?  Because if you buy a subscription then you don't have to go into Paper Pumpkin to sign up or to quit if you don't like it.  Just buy the subscription and when the subscription is done you are done.  But of course, by then you'll probably like it so well that you'll go and subscribe to it.
So if you just want to try it here's the item numbers.  Just let me know or you can buy it yourself online.  Just click the "shop now" button.

1 month subscription  -  $19.95
3 month subscription  -  $54.85
6 month subscription  -  $113.70
12 month subscription  -  $215.40

Okay, I admit it, curiosity got the best of me and I went out and counted the bags.  There are 24 treat bags in the kits.  That's less that $1.00 each and they're really cute bags and when you're done you have your treats plus you have a new stamp set and a Stampin' Spot ink pad.  What a deal!

I hope that things are finally getting back to normal, whatever that is.  Got home from Florida on Sat. to be welcomed with a frozen water pump and a cracked water tank.  But thanks to Ted and Tony I got a new pump and tank installed on Sunday.  I'm sure that's not how they wanted to spend their Sunday but I'm so glad that they did.  Then on Monday I had an early dentist appt., had to go to the post office to pick up my mail and a train meeting at night.  So I haven't accomplished much since I got home.
But today I worked in my craft room and got a few valentines done.  Here's one.  It's pretty simple but I needed one for a guy and they don't usually got for the ribbons and lace.

Sorry I haven't been blogging but if you're friends with me on Facebook you'll know that I'm still in sunny Florida.  I heard that Michigan has snow so maybe I'll stay here for awhile longer.  Just kidding.  Please get the roads cleared by Sat, that's when I'll be home.  Just hope I can get my car out of the parking lot at Bishop airport.
In the meantime here's this weeks specials from Stampin' Up!  Let me know if there's anything you need or you can just click on the "shop now" button and order it.
