Easter Mice

We only have four little boys coming for Easter this year so I made them each a cute little Easter box.  Above is a close up of one of them.  The stamp is the single stamp "Ears to You" but I cut it apart so the bunnies are each separate.

Here are the other three boxes.

And then on Thurs at card class one of the ladies brought me four of these little mice.  So guess where they're going.  The mice are cherries dipped in chocolate for the bodies.  The head is a hersey kiss and the ears are slivered almonds.  They're sitting on a cookie dipped in white.  Thanks so much to Sue for these cute mice.

My Paper Pumpkin

Look at what I got in the mail last week.  I didn't get time to play with it until today.  This is my first box from My Paper Pumpkin.

Everything in the box was wrapped so pretty in tissue paper.

And here's what was in the box.  Everything that I needed to make four cards and the envelopes were included too.

There were instructions and I followed them to make this first card.

But there's no law saying that you need to follow instructions so these next cards are all a little different.

Do you like these cards?  Do you want more information?  Just go to www.mypaperpumpkin.com and check it out.  It's a monthly subscription that comes right to your door with everything you need to make the projects.  And the best part is that you can stop the subscription at any time if you decide that you don't want to do it.  Or maybe you just need a couple of months off.  Then you can suspend your subscription for a month or two and then start up again.

Easy Easter Treat Holders

If you missed my workshop on Thurs here are the Easter treat holders that I demonstrated.  These make cute favors for any kind of party.

And they're really simple to make.  Just start with a 6 X 6 piece of cardstock.  Score it on all sides at 1 1/2" from the edge.

Now you're going to cut off the corners and make a cut at the middle of each side from the score line to the edge of the card stock.  The solid black lines.

Now just take two of the squares that are left next to each other and adhere them together.  Do this to all four sides.

And here's a picture of the finished project.  Just decorate and add a handle and you're good to go.

Best of 25 Years

There's so many exciting things going on at Stampin' Up! right now that I'm not sure what I've posted and what I haven't.  So if you've seen this before I apoligize but I want to be sure that it's posted somewhere.  These are the first 3 sets in the Best of 25 Years stamps.  This is Stampin' Up!'s 25th year in business and to celebrate they're are bringing back some of the favorite stamps from the first 25 years.  The best thing about these sets is that if you buy them they come with a collector's  sticker.  When you've saved 6 stickers you can redeem the card for a new stamp set of your choice up to a $14.95 value.  Let me know if you need a collector's card for your stickers.  The sticker is one that says 25 years.  So don't throw that away.

The set above is the March set and it's called Best of Flowers.  If you want this set just let me know or shop online 24/7.

The set above is the January set and it's called Best of Birthdays.

And this one is the Feb set called Best of Love.
I'll try and post the sets each month and they are all available until April of 2014.  So you've got a while to get any of them.

I've been very busy (lazy???)

I decided that since I've been to busy (lazy??) to stamp lately I needed to give you something to look at.  So here's some cards from last summer's convention.  These are a few of my favoirties and I hope you like them too.
