About Me

Here's the last card from last week's card class. It's called a tri-fold card and it's a lot easier than it looks. Thanks to Kathy Latz for demonstrating it at a meeting. This shows it standing up.
And here it is laying flat. It's really simple. Just start with a piece of card stock that is 12 x 5 1/2". Score it at 2, 4, 8 and 10 on the short side. Then turn it the long way and cut at 1 1/2 and 4 from the 2" score line to the 10" score line. Then fold. However you fold your top and bottom parts fold the middle the opposite way. Ex. here the top and bottom fold back and the middle folds forward. Then keep folding so that the middle is opposite the top and bottom. And then decorate. Here I used the Merry Moments DSP and a couple of snowflakes cut on the Sizzix. And the little trees, birds and snowflakes are the Stampin Up Merry Details sizzlit from the Holiday mini catalog.

And here's a cute treat box. This box is great for any Holiday or occasion depending on how you decorate it. The first time I saw one of these it was a Halloween box. The belt buckle is a pop top from a can of soda.

  1. Gosh Lynn, your clients are super lucky to have you. What a wow card for their class. I am so glad you posted the directions to this card as I missed it when it was done at the Holiday Hoopla (I was a little busy). Thanks for sharing and doing all the hard work. Sandi
