About Me

Here's the cards that we did at card class last week.  We also did the mummy card that I already showed.  This first card used the new Core'dinations card stock out of the Holiday catalog.  I didn't sand it very much but the core shows through pretty good.  I also ran the two biggest leaves through an embossing folder just to give them some dimension.

This sympathy card I cased from one that I got in a swap.  I like the simplicity of it.

A quick, cute baby card.

On this card I used the stamp set called First Christmas.  The blue is Midnight Muse and we discovered that when it's left open all day it definately needs to be re-inked.  The ladies were not getting as dark an image as I had on this card.  So be sure to get the re-inkers if your going to be using the new pads a lot.

This next card is a square 5 x 5 card so we also made the envelope to go with it.

This set is one that I got at convention but I never used it again.  Then I got the Howlstooth and & Scaringbone DSP and they just seemed to go together.  The Howlstooth DSP is for Halloween but since there's no actual Halloween desing on any of it you can use it for masculine cards at any time.

And our 3-d item is this cute treat holder for Christmas.

  1. Wow, your customers are very lucky -- they get 6 different card designs and 3-D for class. Don't let my customers know this! My favorite is the 3-D treat holder. So elegant with the embossing and that stamp set. I also love your DSP choice for the birthday card -- who would have thought??? It goes perfect with the style of that stamp set. Very nice Lynn!! (P.S. My daughter is totally in love with your Xmas fabric ornament - so now I have to do a class!)
