Little brother's birthday card.

I saw this idea for the watch online somewhere and I wanted to use it.  I stamped the watch twice, once on the layer and then again on scrap card stock.  I glued one of the Basic Designer Buttons out of the spring catalog on the layer piece.  Then I cut out the watch face from the scrap piece and glued that onto the button.  It doesn't show up in the picture but it's really cool in real life.  The stamp set is called Dapper Dad and it's in the spring catalog.

Then, if you're like me, I didn't have any idea how to finish off the card.  So I used one of the framelits and traced around the inside of the frame on Very Vanilla and cut it out and traced around the outside of the frame on Cajun Craze and cut it out.  And I liked it but we don't have any greetings that go vertically.  So what to do?  I thought about feathers but I don't have any stamps with feathers.  And then I saw some ties in one of the books but I don't have any tie stamps.  But I do have scissors so I just cut out a tie and stuck it onto the very vanilla.  And I like it.  I could have put a brad on the tie to look like a tie tac but I didn't think about it until everything was adhered.  And now this is my brother's birthday card.
