About Me

Valentine's Day is tomorrow and I'm ready for it.  See these cute treats.  These were made using the January Paper Pumpkin kit.  I'd tell you how many it made but that means that I would have to go out to the Paper Palace and count them and it's just to cold.  Believe me,  there's a lot.  The kit came with the cello bags, the tags, a stamp set and the gold clips.

If you've ever thought about the Paper Pumpkin but you just aren't sure if it's for you then we have a great deal right now.  You can buy a subscription for 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.  And the 3 month subscription will entitle you to a free Sale A Bration item and the kit is on sale.  It's only $54.85 right now.  That's $5.00 off of the regular price.
Why is this a great deal?  Because if you buy a subscription then you don't have to go into Paper Pumpkin to sign up or to quit if you don't like it.  Just buy the subscription and when the subscription is done you are done.  But of course, by then you'll probably like it so well that you'll go and subscribe to it.
So if you just want to try it here's the item numbers.  Just let me know or you can buy it yourself online.  Just click the "shop now" button.

1 month subscription  -  $19.95
3 month subscription  -  $54.85
6 month subscription  -  $113.70
12 month subscription  -  $215.40

Okay, I admit it, curiosity got the best of me and I went out and counted the bags.  There are 24 treat bags in the kits.  That's less that $1.00 each and they're really cute bags and when you're done you have your treats plus you have a new stamp set and a Stampin' Spot ink pad.  What a deal!

I hope that things are finally getting back to normal, whatever that is.  Got home from Florida on Sat. to be welcomed with a frozen water pump and a cracked water tank.  But thanks to Ted and Tony I got a new pump and tank installed on Sunday.  I'm sure that's not how they wanted to spend their Sunday but I'm so glad that they did.  Then on Monday I had an early dentist appt., had to go to the post office to pick up my mail and a train meeting at night.  So I haven't accomplished much since I got home.
But today I worked in my craft room and got a few valentines done.  Here's one.  It's pretty simple but I needed one for a guy and they don't usually got for the ribbons and lace.

Sorry I haven't been blogging but if you're friends with me on Facebook you'll know that I'm still in sunny Florida.  I heard that Michigan has snow so maybe I'll stay here for awhile longer.  Just kidding.  Please get the roads cleared by Sat, that's when I'll be home.  Just hope I can get my car out of the parking lot at Bishop airport.
In the meantime here's this weeks specials from Stampin' Up!  Let me know if there's anything you need or you can just click on the "shop now" button and order it.

The evening meal on Weds was at a restaurant called Cuba Libre.  It was Cuban cooking and I think everyone liked what they had.  Here's Sandy trying to pick out something.

Today during recognition Ronda got a gift from Stampin' Up!

Stampers working on a service project.  We filled bags with crafts for a childrens home here in Orlando.

Card Class

Here's the cards from Thurs card class.  Hope you like these.

This stamp set is called Sheltering Tree.  I hope it carries over to the new catalog because I think it will make a wonderful fall card with autumn leaves.

This stamp set is Painted Petals and there's some wonderful matching Designer Series Paper.  I'll show some of that to you sometime this week.

And I always do a Christmas card and this one is called Gentle Peace.  It's not in any of the catalogs but you can find it on the photopolymer page on Stampin' Up!.  It's only current while supplies last.

This stamp set is Lotus Blossom and it's my favorite out of the Sale A Bration mini.  And you can only get it free with a $50.00 order.

I didn't have a calendar class at the end of last year so I decided to add a calendar to the regular class.  This is a straight copy of one that I got from Jenny Peterson.

And this cute little treat box is made with the Curvy Keepsake thinlet.

Here's the baby card that I gave a sneak peek of earlier.  It's very generic for either a boy or a girl.  I love the little ducks.

And here's a card using the stamp set called You Brighten My Day, which is also a free Sale A Bration set.  And it was punched out with a new punch, Note Tag Punch, which is in the new Occasions catalog.

Another sneak peek.  We will be doing a baby card tomorrow.  Come and play with my new stuff.
