More from the new catalog

Here's another sneak peek at some new stuff.  And this sample comes right from Stampin' Up!  Do you see some cute things there?  It's time to let me know if you want a new catalog.  Just call me or send me an email and I'll put your name on one.  If you're long distance from me than please include your address so that I can get it in the mail.

 

Sneak Peek

Here's a sneak peek at a new stamp set.  It's called Gift of Love and it's a hostess set so the only way you can get this set is by hosting a workshop.  Or you could always just order at least $150.00 worth of stuff and then get this set for free. 

 

 

The greeting on this card is also from a new stamp set called Thoughtful Banners.  It's a photopolymer set and did you know that you can bend the stamps so that they fit into a different shape.  The words in the set are straight across and I just bent it so that it fits the banner.  It's not perfect but it's the first time I tried this.  And the cool thing about this set is that there is a punch that co-ordinate with the stamp set.  The punch is called Duet Banner.  Makes it super easy to get these banner greetings.

The ice cream truck came today.

Saying Hello.

So while we're saying goodbye to some things in the current catalog we'll be saying hello to some new things.  Here's a sneak peek at a new suite called Affectionately Yours.  The new designer paper is called Affectionately Yours.  There's some beautiful copper on this paper but for some reason it doesn't show up in the picture.  The stamp set is Love and Affection and the embossing folder is Floral Affection. In this suite there's some washi tape and, new this year, there's copper embossing powder and copper metallic thread. 

But you've got to see the paper in person.  There's one sheet of copper embossed paper that is absolutely beautiful.

 

Saying Goodbye

It's that time of year.  We have to say goodbye to some of our favorite stamps and accessories.  This card is from my last card class and features the stamp Sweet Briar Rose.  And on this card is some English Garden designer series paper and the Perfect Accents.  They're all retiring.  I hope you've been looking at the retired list to see if there's anything on there that you really want before it's gone.  And in fact some of the accessories are already gone.  So let me know if there's anything you want or need and I'll see if it's still available.

 

I think that I've figured out a way to keep my blog a little more up to date.  Before today I had to take a picture with my camera, upload it to the computer, edit it and then put it into my blog.  Well, I've got it figured out how to do it from my phone which is so much easier.  Except for the fact that I need to learn how to edit the pictures before I put them in the blog.  Oh well, life is a big learning experience.  So here's my first picture that I've loaded right from my phone.  It's a really cute card with the dress made out of a doily.  Not sure who made the card but it was on display at our last Rubber Queens meeting.

 

 

Now I'm going to try and be better at keeping my blog updated.
