About Me

The evening meal on Weds was at a restaurant called Cuba Libre.  It was Cuban cooking and I think everyone liked what they had.  Here's Sandy trying to pick out something.

Today during recognition Ronda got a gift from Stampin' Up!

Stampers working on a service project.  We filled bags with crafts for a childrens home here in Orlando.

Card Class

Here's the cards from Thurs card class.  Hope you like these.

This stamp set is called Sheltering Tree.  I hope it carries over to the new catalog because I think it will make a wonderful fall card with autumn leaves.

This stamp set is Painted Petals and there's some wonderful matching Designer Series Paper.  I'll show some of that to you sometime this week.

And I always do a Christmas card and this one is called Gentle Peace.  It's not in any of the catalogs but you can find it on the photopolymer page on Stampin' Up!.  It's only current while supplies last.

This stamp set is Lotus Blossom and it's my favorite out of the Sale A Bration mini.  And you can only get it free with a $50.00 order.

I didn't have a calendar class at the end of last year so I decided to add a calendar to the regular class.  This is a straight copy of one that I got from Jenny Peterson.

And this cute little treat box is made with the Curvy Keepsake thinlet.

Here's the baby card that I gave a sneak peek of earlier.  It's very generic for either a boy or a girl.  I love the little ducks.

And here's a card using the stamp set called You Brighten My Day, which is also a free Sale A Bration set.  And it was punched out with a new punch, Note Tag Punch, which is in the new Occasions catalog.

From the Herd.  My new favorite stamp set out of the new Occasions catalog and I just love it.  I don't know why but it just makes me feel happy.

Friday, January 16, 2015

Have you been looking at the new Occasions catalog and dreaming about what stamp sets you want to get?  Here's a really cool set called Guy Greetings.  Great for those guys in your life.  Thanks you Lynn Starzl for the cute card.

Card class is next week, Jan 22nd.  Let me know if you're coming so that I can have everything ready.

It's time to get back into the swing of things so here's a reminder that my regular card class is the fourth Thursday of the month.  So this month it's the 22nd.  Which is next week so I need to get busy and get some cards designed.  I think we'll be doing two 3-D items because I want you each to get a calendar so we'll be making them in class.  Plus a treat box for Valentines Day.  And of course we'll be making a Christmas card like we do every month.
And January, February and March are Sale A Bration, where you can get free stuff with a $50.00 order.  So here's a couple more samples of the free Lotus Blossom stamp set.  I love this set and it's so easy to line up.  Just wait until you see the stamp set. We will be using it at class.

On Tues I challenged you to make a Joy Jar.  Today I finally got out to the Paper Palace and did a little stamping and here's my Joy Jar.  I just used a plastic peanut butter jar and put a couple of strips of the Flowerpot DSP around the jar.  I covered the top with Lost Lagoon card stock and tied a white organza ribbon round it.  Then I added the flower and I want you to take a good look at that flower.  You can get that stamp set for free.  It's in the Sale A Bration catalog.  It's a three step stamp and I used Night of Navy, Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky ink on it.  I really like this flower and Stampin' Up! has made it easy to use the stamp.  Each stamp has a tab at the top so it's really easy to line it up.

Here's a close up of the flower.  Isn't it pretty?  And starting next week you can get this stamp set free with a $50.00 order from me.  And it won't be hard to have an order that big because the new Occasions catalog has a ton of really cool stuff in it.  I'll try and get some more stamping done tomorrow and show you some more new stuff.  If you haven't gotten a Sale A Bration or Occasions catalog yet please let me know.
